If anyone remembers the Icemen from the 80's and 90's, they are having a reunion gig at the Gaslight Tavern, Sat 29th May, should be a great night

Vocals: Darren Constable
He began as a young 20 year old with The Icemen in the 80’s and has since toured Asia.
Darren led the 90’s Guns and Roses cover band Appetite for Destruction.
Darren being the vocalist, harp and guitar player in the trio Unwired, covering legends such as; Billy Thorpe, Led Zeppelin, Guns and Roses amongst many, unwired opened for Billy Thorpe and The Angels
Darren was headhunted to tour internationally and disappeared from Adelaide for a few years. He has returned to playing acoustically in one of the most successful duos in Adelaide ‘2 Up’.

Guitar: Ross Brennan
Ex: The Giants (with ex-Mickey Finn members John Freeman and Stan Korytnj), early ‘80’s semi-original rock quartet Silent Number, to soul outfits such as The Sinners, The Shakers and The East End Band (to name but a few).
Currently playing with coverband, Hard Copy.

Bass: Sam Giancaspro
Ex:Tropical Gin, The Giants. (The Giants band toured nationally and are in the Australian Rock Almanac), legendary AC/ DC cover band High Voltage.

Drums: Gonzo (Greg Bero)
Gonzo has played and recorded in various original and cover bands for the last 20 years, such as: Jagged Edge, Dirty Laundry, Can the Jam, 48 Crash, The Hot Rats and The Icemen.
He is currently drumming for the well-known rock outfit Overdrive and is also currently recording with the original heavy metal band Swiss Pig.

The Icemen was the brainchild of established lead guitarist Ross Brennan. His experience and musical direction made The Icemen a formidable band in the late 80’s and early 90’s.
The Icemen punched out heavy rock so tight that punters and fellow musicians alike were blown away. The 3 part harmonies alone were impressive. Punters never walked away disappointed and were left wanting more.
Their classic rock sound and being able to reproduce the great harmonies and sound of bands like Queen, Bad Company and Thin Lizzy always assured a good crowd and party atmosphere.
The Icemen headlined in well-known live venues of the era and had numerous supports for other major acts. Venues were suitably impressed by their ability to keep the crowd.
To this day The Icemen are individually approached in their respective bands asking for more!
