The hottest 100 - sheilas only

Story in today's bumwipe about some female-only "hottest 100" being organised in response to the fact that triple J's "hottest 100" was dominated by phallic-enhanced artists.
http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/stor ... 21,00.htmlNow I figure that with effort, one could make two such lists:
A. 100 best songs by (mostly) female artists, and
B. 100 (mostly?) female artists one would most like to shag.
So, let's have some nominations for both lists....

Perhaps this shoulda gone on the music board.... mods?
PS Maxy, definitely Bjork for category B, if only for her premier grunting ability...

For the B list. Nobody probably remembers, but her name was Jennifer Paige and she sung a song called Crush I reckon it was. She used to give me massive wood.

Pretty much a one hit wonder in this country BC.
That song was number one at this time in 1998.
Guess what song followed it to number one in 1998?
Blue (Ba da dee) by Eiffel 65.

Interesting that the article said it was in reaction to "the all male Triple J Hottest 100".
Judging by the fact it is 'The Hunmmingbird 100', I think that's a convenient way to make it 'newsworthy', as given the amount of advertising that the Hummingbird beer for women has received on MAX it was a commercial agreement, more than a reaction.
Has anyone drunk the Hummingbird beer yet? And what exactly constitutes beer for women?

It would be interesting to find out how many of these songs were written by men.

Prince probably wrote 40% of them.

The biggest selling female solo album of all time only has the one song (Carole King - I Feel The Earth Move)?
Nothing by one of the biggest selling female artists of all time with Enya?
"Go Your Own Way" is sung by both Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham, so in that case, would have expected other duets if they qualified.
Katy Perry?? Egad...
I love her music big time, but there is still a LOT of P!nk in there....

Lots of Pink but no Patti Smith. Then again I suppose Patti isn't a real punk like Pink is.
Also I think PJ Harvey is okay but then again she is no Beyonce or Lady Ga Ga.

That list has nothing to do with JJJ does it? Some absolutely dreadful rubbish there
