Hmmm I'm a bit skeptical.
Their past few albums just haven't done it for me.

Their last album was bit foo fighters (started really well then faded badly).

as they have changed companies i have heard they have gone back to old school TEN and Virsus type of music. Well any way pumped for the new albumn hopefully and australian tour follows.

THEy have gone back to their old producer Brendan O'brien for this album.

And it'll be the same turgid, self important twaddle it's always been.

Just a rumour I had heard over the last month. It was mentioned in the Sunday Mail yesterday so I guess that fuels it. It talked of a show at Adelaide Oval with Ben Harper supporting.

wow sounds like a massive show. after what happened in holland thought they were not playing big events like that. I thought adelaide oval would be to big for that. i was thinking they may do memorial drive again. cant wait for the announcement and the tour.

I agree, I would have thought AO would be too big. The Sunday Mail is not the most reliable source so I guess we wait and see.

I brought this yesterday.

Brilliant. Only goes for 35 minutes but it is all killers no fillers.

If you liked Yield. You will love this album.

First 4 songs rock.

Some excellent ballads and classical pearl jam midpaced gems.

Yep. Pretty unreal album

Love it.
It's not as "instant" as other albums. Takes some sinking in, which I prefer. Now though, I don't skip any songs.

Favourite tracks on first listen were Got Some, The Fixer, and Amongst the Waves.

Taken a liking to Force of Nature now.
Supersonic and Gonna See My Friend both crank.

Supersonic is a definite Stone song. Sounds quite close tO Mankind, especially the guitar at the intro.
