I really rate Karnivool. Fantastic music to pump you up before footy.

They are playing a show at HQ in july/ august 18+ show and only $35.

I will be there for sure. Went to there last show at fowlers and they were fantastic.

Are you sure they played Fowlers last gig, I know Birds have played their last 2 gigs there as I saw one and was away for the other, but I saw Karnivool last time they were in town and they played Live on Light Square, unless I missed a gig somehow.

Not a worry. I prefe Fowlers as a venue anyway, the viewing area for the stage is bigger so you have more of a choice to go close or view from the back. At Live on Light there are plenty of poles in the road so to get a good view of the band you really need to be right up the front, and at the centre.

Also last time Karnivool played they brought with them a solo American dude, called That One Guy I think. He was awesome. Will be interesting to see who they have this time around.

New songs are all up on their myspace site.

New Day
Umbra
Caudal Lure
Illumine
Deadman

all go alright.... IMO not as good as Themata, but it would have taken a huge effort to beat that... My mind could change as the songs grow on me.
