OOh, I like a good music thread me. In the past couple of weeks? Hmmm...

Depeche Mode 'Playing the Angel' (so-so)
New Order 'Singles' (yet another NO compilation but I have to have EVERYTHING they ever do so...)
Saint Etienne 'Tales from Turnpike House' (twee but cool), 'Finisterre', 'So Tough', 'FoxBase Alpha' ('cos they were $9 a pop at JBs - HOORAY!)
Belle & Sebastian 'Push Barman to Open Old Wounds' (b-sides & EPs collection)
Sigur Ros ' Takk' (not-as-good-as-last-two Icelandic wackiness)
Pulp 'Hits' on DVD (best vids going around and cheap at JBs - HOORAY!)
A whole bunch of 80s compilations on vinyl from a car boot sale (some things are better left alone however...Toto anyone?)

Did anyone see Sarah Blasko's 'Rage' set on Saturday - awesome choices plus a Kate Bush session! Yaaaah Yaaaah Babooshka Babooshka Babooska Ya-Ya!

..and a few months after that they will all be available from Cashys...maybe the game will have a shelf-life of longer as 12 year olds don't tend to throw games away in a hurry

Don't worry Sammy, you'll grow out of it one day..

Booney
they all have real names most of them are pretty well know, in 50 Cent's movie, he goes by his real name, its not really any diffrent to how and band has a name.
dont really think i will grow out of it any time soon REB, just appeals to me alot more than the shite you hear on the radio.

Sammy. While we probably don't have the one disc that would be common to both of our collections, I agree with you about what gets a run on radio....tragic stuff!

After all these years, can't believe that people still think it's a fad?

Country and western and hip-hop are the biggest selling genre's in the US - which means they're here to stay.

Red Phoenix's debut album, long live the Doc!
Couple of great songs!

The Original Angels Band - Live at the basement.
Absolute atrocity, awful, awful, awful, gave it away.
