Was Ozzy Ozborne a Seventh Day Adventist?
Posted: Fri Jan 02, 2009 10:32 amOn various rock music sites it is suggested that Ozzy Ozborne former lead singer of Black Sabbath was raised within the Seventh Day Adventist Church (just like Chopper Reid!) what confuses people is that many of Black Sabbaths early songs contain openly Christian Lyrics which appears a contradiction in terms considering their reputation.
Black Sabbath have a song entitled "The Sabbath Stones", former lead singer Tony Martin has this to say about the song in answer to a query from a fan on a fan site,

Seems interesting that Black Sabbath would write a song about the Ten Commandments then call it after the Sabbath Commandment? No doubt any Christian influence could do this, yet it would seem to me that the Ten Commandments and the Sabbath are far more promoted in the SDA churches.
