I know that this is slightly after xmas new years but just found out future music festival will be lobbing into Adelaide on March 9 I think.

If it is half as good as last years show it is going to be phenomenal!

i think first release for summer break is 75 +bf then goes up to 85 + booking fees for second release.

Haven't heard who will be coming out for future music but that time of the year is sensational. I think even the clipsal shows are are a bit more younger audience orientated with only the country show being on the Sat night. Plus the fringe being on. Wicked time to be in Adelaide

or you could get a double pass for Summer Break + DJ Numark (jurassic 5) who is playing at Electric Light Hotel on sat 3rd Jan for $95 + bf.

a very loose time to be in adelaide indeed.

Got mine at Moshtix, $80 each inc. bf. Only thing with their tix is they do them as pdf's with your name and DOB on them.

Also guys and girls to increase this very busy period of festive fun, the Black Keys are playing HQ on the 30th of December. Tickets are 55 plus 4.50 booking fee.

Not sure how I'm going to fit all these gigs in!

Public Enemy - I'm so devastated I can't go to that gig. One of my five all time fave acts. Unfortunately I have to be back here for work the next day.

Thanks!

DW, I'll probably be in quite a state by the end of the night, but if I somehow weasel my way to the front during Public Enemy I'll be sure to get some pics.

Hey hey, I forgot about this.

Sorry DW, only got some very poor shots of Public Enemy, not even worth uploading.

As for the day. It didn't start well when the Weslo security guard told me I couldn't bring my bottles of 'water' or soft drink in (even though the seals weren't broken). I argued with him about 'terms and conditions' and that that was not among them, but he wouldn't budge. There was no one there, apart from airhead ticket chicks, to argue my point with. So the missus and I wandered back out and pondered what to do. Approached a cop who clearly felt it was more important to keep an eye on the drug dealer in cuffs. Anyway, I watched the security guard wander down the line checking ID's, approached a different one who rolled his eyes upon my explanation and said 'Don't worry about him, just go on through'. It's funny that no one questioned why I wanted my 'water' so badly, but meh, we just made our way to a table and started tucking into our illicit vodka while listening to the drum n bass

There were three stages and the setup of them was piss-poor, the main two were waaaay to close to each other and third so poxy I've seen better systems at mate's places. Then we figured out that the timetables they handed out were wrong in parts (WABOFDHs!) and that Van She weren't even listed! Don't even know if they played, but I'm told (unreliably) that they did? Bit pissed off about that, but nevertheless had fun bouncing around. Best set was Grafton Primary who were great and we bumped into their singer later at another stage and had a chat and photo (no doubt I was slurry mess, but he seemed to enjoy having his photo taken with the missus). Midnight Juggernauts were superb once again too. Public Enemy put on a good show, but I won't say I was heaps impressed.

Anyway, still a good day to be had, but the organisers cheaped out on a lot of areas. Parklife and even Future Music sh*t all over Summer Break.
