just trying to get some support for a good friends band... if anyone is in the Northern Suburbs this Saturday night 8/11/08 and has nothing to do head down to the Louisiana Tavern (Elizabeth Shopping Centre) to catch an AWESOME local band battle it out. they will be onstage from around 9pm... plenty of drink specials and great atmosphere.
I went and checked this band out 3 weekends ago and im so glad i did they rock!

On Bass (plus mandolin/harmonica/backing vocals) we have Iain Gillaney. Lead guitar is Lieutenant Stan. Tristan Newsome on lead vocals and rythm guitar and on drums we have Travis Duke.
We are interested in getting different muso's on board anyone that can play a bit of piano violin etc please contact us for info as we are recording in November and could do with your help. In addition we are happy to network with any bands looking to put shows on etc.

The Flying Squad is currently an entrant in Louisiana Taverns battle of the band. It's a great venue and they are doing alot to support live local music so rally the troops pop in for a meal and drink (word of warning if you go for a mega shnitzel don't eat for two days prior!) SUPPORT THE VENUES THAT SUPPORT US!!!

The Flying Squad all love music and performing and we pour ourselves into our performance – coming performances will feature our lovely flight attendants.


We hope to get our music to all corners of the world so people can hear what we do.
