He's 14 (and my son  ) and he and his mates love it.

When he asked if he could go I told him only with an adult and I'm not taking him, thought I had him stuffed but he rang my cousin who was quite happy to go. He is also into Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Angels etc. etc., any of the later I would have no problems with going to see. Not sure about the pots and pans comment though, the only slipknot I could listen to is the drum solos.

I talked him out of buying a mask with the promise of the Angels/Rose Tattoo gig instead.

No worries Ian thats fair enough, everyone for their own, if he likes that kind of music thats alright.

I personally don't like the music but I understand that there is many people that do like them.

Brought my ticket sometime ago. Can't Wait! Have seen them twice before and even if you dont like their music it well worth going just to see their stage show.

Will be there. Machine Head ROCK.

Why would you post on this thread if you dont like it HOF? I'd bag your musical choices but I am unfortunately a bit of an 80s tragic

What an amazing show! Slipknot & Machine Head just blew everyone away.

Was without doubt the most dangerous mosh I've ever been in. The mosh was 50-60m deep!! There was a circle pit going on all night about 30m from the stage too. It was just nuts. Saw about half a dozen patrons pass out around me.

Only lowlight for me was the fact that you couldn't take bottled water inside - only water in cups. You cant exactly take these into a mosh. Also wasn't 'near enough water given out by security at the front. This probably attributed the high number of people who passed out.
