Nick Cave Exhibition

Saw it recently at the Arts Centre in Melbourne - can recommend it to anyone remotely interested in the Birthday Party, Boys Next Door, Bad Seeds, Grinderman etc and Australian music in general. Could have spent a day looking at all of his notebooks - fascinating stuff. Runs for a while yet still.

Not yet. Pre xmas was too chaotic. Probably go this weekend or next weekend. A mate who use to play with Nick went opening night and said it was very well done and was impressed with the old BND and Birthday Party stuff - and he is getting hard to please these days

Why not suggest a weekend shopping trip in Melbourne to Mrs Dogwatcher? Dump her in Chapel St and head to the Arts Centre!

Finally got around to seeing today. Very well done. My only complaint was not enough Boys Next Door and Birthday Party, but I understand a lot of that stuff got "lost" over the years.
The original flyer from The Tiger Lounge was funny. You could see The Stars and Mondo Rock one night and The Boys Next Door and JAB the next!
Was hoping they may have had the original "Boots are made for walking" video shown but alas no.
