IMHO channel V was much better when Andrew G and James Matthison were on there.... is Jabba still around?

Nah, Jabba has been gone for a long time. The last thing he did for V was the Band in a Bubble with Regurgitator. The worst thing V has done is become a clone of MTV.

I surfed the 'music' channels last weekend and this is what I saw.
The Rogue Traders,Britney Spears,Delta Goodrem,( :vom: ), some alleged
celebrities playing pranks on each & other nobodies showing their
cars and/or homes.
Can't we have at least 1 music channel that caters for adults,
25-50, and not 13 year olds? :? :-k

MusicMax usually isn't too bad, and the radio music stations on there are good too.

True.
But the balance between the two is still way unbalanced.
Finding 'Later...with Jools Holland' is a nightmare.

Max can be passable at times. I find VH1 generally has some good stuff but they also have some pretty ordinary stuff to balance it out.
I think MTV has finally given up on playing Music.

If anything I find the Foxtel music channels spend as much time on 80s and 90s music than anything else

They had the Cure in concert on last night

Maybe we are watching at different times
