The wrong song lyrics

Was having a laugh with my brother last night and we remembered him singing a song when he was a kid.

We reckon it might have been Human League who sang the song, had a line that went "Don't you want me baby?". He used to sing (bearing in mind he was about 4) "Don't you want me bathers?"

Found a few corkers in this site:

http://www.rulefortytwo.com/mondegreenhall.htm

My favourite from there...

Creedence Clearwater Revival, "Bad Moon Rising"
Wrong lyric: There's a bathroom on the right
Right lyric: There's a bad moon on the rise

Although it's good to see Tony Danza get a mention in the Elton John section

If anyone lists 'cheap wine' etc as if it's one we've never heard before I'll go spare!

My sister used to think it was that when she was really young. I used to laugh at her.

There used to be a site called "KissThisGuy.com" or something similar, with a whole lot. The name owed itself to the Jimmi classic, mentioning "Kiss The Sky".

Mental as Anythings "Live it Up"

A few of us got together and rewrote that song but can't publish it on here cause it would get me banned but it was a classic

American exchange student we had live with us in the 80s thought 'Am I ever going to see your face again' was the greatest song ever when we took him to see the band and he worked out what the crowd was singing in between!!!!!

"When You Were Mine" by The Church sounds like "We're You Am I". Like to hear Steve Kilbey sing it.

I challenge anybody to pick "Sunglasses at Night" without looking up the lyrics

It still doesn't make sense even when you know what Corey was actually singing :? :D
