U2 Zoo TV in Adelaide 1993 DVD

Postby zipzap » Sun Sep 09, 2007 11:17 am

For the U2 fans out there, I have just watched the DVD of the Footy Park show from 93 and it's very cool. It was pro-shot as a trial run for the Sydney show which of course was released commercially. So it's basically shot for shot the same, with the added bonus of Nobo calling up Cornsey and asking him how his new young bride was going. Hmmm, wonder if Labor could get some mileage out of that footage?

It's clearly from a VHS source but very watchable with good sound.

You can dowload it at dimeadozen : http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=159470

BTW, doing a search on 'adelaide' on Dime brings up concerts from Red Hot Chilli Peppers (DVD - 2007), Led Zeppelin at the Drive, Midnight Oil, New Order, Living Colour, Roger McGuinn & PJ Harvey. Worth a look.

Is this a bootleg or a U2 fansite exclusive?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

No invites for Dime, my best advice is simply keep trying. Sometimes in a matter of minutes it frees up an account and you're away. It's a wonderful site for anyone into live boots. Much better than the old days of paying $45 for a shitty recording at a record fair or sneaking out the back room at Muses.

The U2 Footy Park DVD was officially recorded and presumably broadcast somewhere. It is however a bootleg as it was not commerically released. A while back I DL'd the infamous Achtung Baby demos which were stolen and released on the black market at the time. I recall Muses had posters in the windows saying they had U2's new album!

Thanks for that zipzap

I agree totally about those crap recordings at record fairs. I have had bad experence with a FEW DODGY PEOPLE selling them at fairs, half of them knew nothing about them or anything  . They are there to make quick bucks!! and have been told they still sell at them today.

Glad i dont go to them anymore
