Must get the film on DVD (if its out there somewhere!!)
The DVD has FINALLY been released (and remastered) JB's will have it for $25. There is also a second DVD with the doco "Living on Dog Food" - a MUST see as well, as the original filmclip of Rooms for the Memory and other great stuff.

I wouldn't have thought you'd be in Michael Hutchence's corner LL?I read a recent interview with Richard Lowenstein talking about how Hutchence did Dogs because he was craving credibility from the Melbourne post-punk scenesters which is probably about right. INXS was the first band I ever saw and adored them as a kid but I later thought how trapped he was as he outgrew them - and yet he never seemed to be able to break away and pursue his own muse which is kinda sad. Having said that, the Max Q album he did with Ollie Olsen (along with Rooms for the Memory) were the best things he ever did and still stands up today.
