Must admit, I've never liked it.

Pretty hard to avoid in 1990.

Del's five minutes in Top-40 before returning to his underground roots.

Pretty good album samples the death out of George Clinton and Parliament.

Favourite album cuts are 'Dr. Bombay', 'Dark Skin Girls' and 'Hood Come in Dozens'.

Ice Cube's cousin...

Ah Dr Bombay! Brilliant.
Del has also done some work with the Gorillaz.
Speaking of PFunk - was listening to 3D when in Adelaide yesterday morning and the DJ played a whole slab of it. Noice.

Oh God yes, I wouldn't go see Neil Finn if I was paid to!

In all seriousness I'm taking my Mum, it's repayment for when I was 3 and accidentally broke one of the records in her Hot August Night Double LP. Little Wedgie thought records bent but found out they didn't!

I've got tickets to Soundwave which is 2 days before the Neil Diamond concert. What a contrast that will be!

PS Tickets were $200 each!

The best part for those that can't buy tickets, you'll probably be able to hear that bombastic baritone as far as Noarlunga :D

On Rupert Holmes and "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)", quite funny how a song about a couple planning to cheat on each other by way of personal ads, became so popular.

Don't be embarrassed, CP.

One of the great drunk sing-a-longs.

Belt out that chorus.

If you like pina coladas...

SCANDAL

As a young lad when I wuz living in the 70s I would frequent joints like the Largs Pier and other discos
I recall dating this shiela and took her to see a favourite band of mine called Scandal at the Pier
The lead singer used to dress up like David Bowie and Red Symons
It was kinda embarrasing the way he was made up, but he could sing, and the band was a brilliant live act
The shiela thought he was strange

It was also embarrasing being a Bay City Roller fan, those were the days
