See Ned's are getting together to play God Fodder in its entirety live later this year. Almost worth the airfare I'd reckon...

Carter USM did the same I think, a bit sad but pretty cool I guess. Neds and the Stuffies got back together a while ago, both had new records, not sure if they were any good or not.

I'd love to see Carter again, so much. Saw them at first BDO - was a major highlight for me. Such a fantastic band. Politics with a sense of humour.
I saw Fruitbat in 2005 during an Abdujaparov tour. Was a spin out.
Would also love to see The Stuffies too - was too young the last time that they came through. Do have the tour EP still though.

BTW -

"I'm getting weighed down with all this information, safe sex doesn't mean no sex it just means use your imagination."

The Wonderstuff is the only gig I have been to where I left angry. After about 15 minutes I wanted so much to smack Miles Hunt in the mouth. Believe me you didn't miss much.
Did you see Billy Bragg at Thebarton in 92? He played for 3 hours and it was magic, and I don't normally like long gigs. Triple J's Live at the Wireless Volume 2 features "Levi Stubbs Tears" from it.
I missed Ride about the same time but from all reports it was incredible.

LL - don't talk to me about that 92 Bragg gig!
Was supposed to go. Bought the tickets. My GF had them.
We broke up. She kept the tickets. I didn't go.
Finally, in 2008, I got to see Billy Bragg at the BDO.
It was worth the wait!

PS: I was listening to that Live At The Wireless cassette the other day ;)

AND ZZ, I'm very envious you got to see those gigs. Especially Ride!

I liked the Wonder Stuff gig too - don't listen to LL, he's just a grumpy old man ;)

The wife's out on Sunday/Monday - leaving me with the girl for two days. She's only 10 months old but I'm guessing it's never too early to start working on her music taste.

I'm thinking a bit of Glen Miller for some soothing sounds, then on to some Tall Tales and True, then maybe some Ratcat before some Violent Femmes, Ride, Blur and then some Nick Cave.

That'll get us through Sunday eh?

This will class as "watching" and "listening"...

I just got the new Coheed & Cambria DVD called Neverender...

It is all 4 of their albums played live and in full over 4 nights. 2 disc set with over 5 hours of footage. Ive been skipping through the songs that are on The Last Supper DVD and mostly watching the last show which is the one where they play No World For Tomorrow in full.

Only paid $19 for it too. Id say its drawn with Avenged Sevenfold: Live in the LBC as the best music DVDs in my collection.

The Nerves album "One way ticket" which features the original "Hanging on the telephone".

Paul Collins formed The (US) Beat after the Nerves split. Some older folk may remember them.
