(93) Powderfinger — Vulture Street
(94) The Killers — Hot Fuss
(96) Silverchair — Frogstomp

About a third of the list, not sure if it's a good or bad thing...

Not sure how only one REM album could make it, same for AC/DC and Foo Fighters. Wouldn't rate 'Vulture Street' the best Powderfinger record either...

Correct, truly awful album...only eclipsed in crapness by the movie

No Doors on the list at ALL.
I know you don't like them REB - but come ON!

Anthony Callea has an album on there, and the Doors don't :(

Quite right too as the Doors are overrated boring waffle. The only song of theirs I like is The End and even that is due to the movie Apocolapyse Now. Having slammed the doors though (like that one? ), I'd still put every Doors album ever made ahead of Deltra Goodrem or Anthony Callea on any such chart. Remember folks it is an Internet based chart so pinups with no musical talent are going to get nominated multiple times by over-stimulated teenagers and those who haven't grown out of that yet. Us old buggers vote for our album once and move on.

BTW, plenty of hate for Rattle And Hum and I'm not having it. Ok, not one of U2s best but there are still some good songs on it, Desire, Silver and Gold (love that song..come on Edge play the Blues), Bullett the Blue sky..far above the absolute dross of one of my most hated albums of all time REM's Automatic for the People...

Everyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyybody Hurts *sob* shoot the fargen prick..Johnny Rotten sings better.
Could you believe they put a man on the moon *UGH*

Stipe is quite proud that his mediocre band of numbnuts didn't have the Beatles and the Stones as an influence and it fargen well shows. Utter crap. Rattle and Hum (yeah, crap movie agreed) shits on Automatic for the People from a great height. And Automatic for the people shits on Innocent Eyes from a great height.

Very relevant comment to the Robbie Williams thread!

Each to their own ... each to their own :)
I think you've used the "slamming doors" line before - and also mentioned the only song you like is "The End" :)

Purely subjective though really. I've listened to Rattle and Hun and really really don't like it.
