BLS played a fun set and I thoroughly enjoyed it....however not quite loud enough, but still quality. Zakk played about an 8 minute solo. No Ozzy stuff though.

I flew to Melbourne to watch them at their own gig on Tuesday night and that was awesome !!

So impressed again with Soundwave, it is the premium music festival in Oz (IMO of course).

Highlights for me in no particular order:

Bad Relgion
Gojira
Lamb of God
Alter Bridge
A Day to Remember
Slipknot
SOAD.

Special mention for Limp Bizkit, I watched their set with some apprehension but walked away impressed. I think they surprised a few people. Bush weren't bad either.

Can't wait for next year

Yeah that was the first time I saw him (Thebby with Ozzy in 97 I think it was)... Then saw him with Ozzy at Rod Laver Arena about 4 years ago. Saw him with BLS at Thebby in 2005 and then twice this week.

He is without a doubt my favourite musician.

Was good to see Bad Religion again, although would much rather see them as a standalone so they have more room to play a lot of their older stuff.

Mastodon impressed me. Devin Townsend was amazing for his short set.

Steel Panther get an honourable mention for crude humour.

I had a great day on Saturday, Zebrahead were great and System were amazing.

Why don't you ask the kids at Tiananmen square??!! :D Awsome stuff.

During Sugar, System last song of the night there was somebody who apprently got trampled in the circle pit the crowd had started up not long before that. Hope they're ok, good to see Daron and the rest of the band stop everything and make sure they got the assistence they needed.
