With so many good acts at this one could the promoters maybe kick the day off earlier or finish later so there isnt so many clashes?

PS I realise there has to be clashes, otherwise the thing will go for 4 days!

Adelaide gets it first 'Sidewave' this year.

New Found Glory will team up with Less Than Jake for a couple of Sidewave shows next Feb / March. They will play Billboards in Melbourne on Monday 28th February, while you Adelaide folks have something to cheer about because they'll also be teaming up at HQ for a Licensed All Ages show on Sunday March 6th. Tickets will go on sale Friday 19th November.

****, where's the logic in clashing two punk bands?! How the hell do you decide between Social Distortion and Pennywise? Plus a triple clash wih QOTSA/H2O/Millencolin.

So many bands I couldn't care less about seeing and already I can see me missing out on ones I do want to see :(

I'm surprised The Bronx is on so late, going to have to summon the last ounces of energy to brave that mosh (although the scheduled 40 minute set is a little pissweak).

I got my ticket for Xmas and I'm pumped!! I can't Wait to see Millencolin, Queens of the Stone Age, Less Than Jake, Iron Maiden, Sum 41, New Found Glory in action!

But now I fell a little down as there are a couple of clashes I'm not very happy about. :(

First of all the two bands I really want to see and I'm mainly going for, Millencolin and Queens of the Stone Age clash. FFS! That's carp.

And then Iron Maiden and Sum 41 clash aswell, which is also bullsh!t.

I'll now have to work out what band I want to see more, which is bullsh!t because I want to see all of them for their whole set instead of running of half way through to go and see the other.

They definitely out Quichey? I only rated the "Waking the Fallen" album anyways , so no huge loss...

Definitely out. Apparently they didn't want to play when the sun was out, BUT, also didn't want to play during Iron Maiden, basically suggesting that Iron Maiden should be moved to accomodate them. Wankers.

No replacement for A7X, just a re-working of the timetable, which is apparently finalised. AT first glance it seems I have less clashes and am very happy with that!

What's with the MXPX/The Ataris set...?

I'm assuming they have formed a "semi-super" group, or are they just going to perform alternate songs ;)

Mixed set. Herrera (MxPx vocalist/bass) plays bass for the Ataris.

As I only have a mild interest in both bands it works for me, but I guess it would suck if you really loved one or the other.

Fan of MXPX (well kind of, back in the day)...

Not going to Soundwave...have to sell on the the kids to be able to afford it (which isn't a bad idea after seeing the full line up)

Thanks for the answer....

Only if they got Boyzone, Westlife, Ultra and 5ive up on stage to sing a medley of their greatest hits...that would be awesome...

;)
