GOLD! Love that album. "This is re-lig-ion. Your re-lig-ion."

For me, The The's "Armageddon Days Are Here Again" (the 12" version from 45 RPM, not the vastly inferior Mind Bomb version) just trailed off in Windoze Media Player as I typed the above.

Used to be a top venue for bands the Bridgeway!
One of the best gigs I ever went to was
L7 supported by legendary Melbourne stalwarts
THE COSMIC PSYCHOS! :partyman:
R.I.P. guitarist Robbie Watts

I believe Motorhead once played there, but alas
I was too young at the time, & when they were set to return in the
early 90's (with the release of their album '1916') slow ticket sales
led to cancellation Damnit!!! ](*,)
I had to wait 'til December 2005 to watch my fave band blow those
Hollywood wankers 'Motley Crue' off the stage in an all too short a set!
GO THE GROWL!!!

If you were a Blink 182 fan...

Postby Lunchcutter » Fri Mar 02, 2007 11:32 am

check out what I'm currently listening too... (When you're heart stops beating from Plus 44 - Mark Hoppus ex Blink lead vocals and Travis Barker ex Blink Drummer).. the lyrics are a lot more mature in nature but they still keep that punk pop/rock feel. P>S> if you have nothing to do tonight Fri (2/9) plus 44 are on at Thebby.
RIP my DH 1964 - 2009 - You were one of the best and I miss you
