On Channel 9 it would be in the top 5 at least.

How can you say it's a JJJ-sensitive audience when Bernard Fanning/Powderfinger weren't one and two ? ;)

Absolutely. I found myself agreeing with most of his (and Kram's) opinions, except DSOTM which I never ever got, even as a massive Pink Floyd fan as a kiddie. Renee Geyer should be taken out the back and put down. I wonder if anyone has ever mentioned to her she is actually white? And Chas Lichiardello was mostly plain embarrassing I thought. Every time they tried to have a serious musical discussion he ruined it with inane comments which go down a treat on the Chaser, but he exposed his lack of musical knowledge I thought.

I thought the show was OK, Myff did allright but the panel  , I actually thought that Dicko had the most to say
get rid of the humour factor in Judith Lucy and that fella from the Chaser show and put in musicians or people in the business that actually have some cred

as for the list, I have had 7 of the top 10  and between myself and my daughter we have had the lot

agree with Zippy in that it was a JJJ audience but still surprised that OK computer finished so high and also Jeff Buckley was the other big surprise

my vote came in at 26 and my wife didnt even make the top 100, she is a big Natalie Merchant (10000 Maniacs) fan

I was particularly interested in his comments on Abbey Road (See page 1 of this thread  ). Chas was so far out of his depth it wasn't funny. Kram was also very interesting (pity his band sucks :P )
BTW I was at friends place for dinner last night and one of the albums they put on during the evening was Kaleidoscope World!!! I nearly died.

I have it on now too. Lilac Wine is on in the lounge - beautiful.
I don't drink a lot of wine, but I love a glass of red listening to this.

While it was on I knocked back a glass of Ingoldby Cab Sav myself...

No kidding. Yet there was still plenty of populist dreck in the upper positions.

I actually own Grace, but I've never really liked it. I'm listening to it now to see if I can hear what everyone else finds appealing about it.

But really folks, how can anyone take the list seriously when The Human League's Dare didn't make it? 8)

Grace is a great album, on the strength of 4 songs on there: Mojo Pin, Grace, Last Goodbye & So Real.
I have tried, but cannot listen to the other songs on this album, as they are very boring.
Those 4 songs mentioned (especially Mojo Pin & Grace) are what makes it a great buy.
