Apologies for last week, when the music system spat out "Tie A Yellow Ribbon" halfway through (I wondered if that was a sign on its own about how daggy it was). While we substituted the heartrending and tearjerking "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You" in its place, we will play "Tie A Yellow Ribbon" in its entirety in coming weeks.

The third single from 'Smash and Grab' is one of the worst songs I've ever heard 'Boy oh Boy'.

Just misses qualifying Strawb - 70's and 80's only and Milli Vanilli are 1990.

Last week, BTW, was "Rivers of Babylon" by Boney M.

Previous week was "Disco Duck", today's was Starlight Vocal Band's "Afternoon Delight".

Time for 80's for the next 2 weeks. Likely to be one of the Neighbours crew in there, although not one that has been mentioned here as yet.

True REB, it was ordinary with a capital O.

But they had a saviour on the same album in Kitty - remade in 81 by Toni Basil as Mickey.
