It was 31 years ago 9/2/1981
That great rock n roller Bill Haley passed away at 55
Its has been written that the great man had about 8,000 fan clubs in 1955

Im listening to the Rock Around The Clock album by Bill Haley and the Comets
My favorites
Rock Around The Clock
Shake Rattle And Roll
Razzle Dazzle

Interesting notice on this album that reads :

Important- Worn needles ruin records
Research in America and Australia discloses that sapphire needles wear after 30 hours use
To eliminate irritating surface crackle-replace your needles after 30 hours playing

Last evening, an old CD of Yehudi Menuhin (Violinist) and Ravi Shankar (Sitar) playing classic Indian Raga, and some hybrid western/Indian compositions of their own.
I'd bought it years ago but it had been tucked away in a box that wasn't unpacked in my last several moves.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!
