I thought that was those try-hards from down south- ummm, can't remember their name, they had a song "turn that shit up", 2 brothers in the band, used to hire superior equipment to drown out the support bands, dad was running around demanding everything etc.
They got signed & quickly dropped by a major label.

Testeagles it was that were part of the ad. (had to google the song)

It was definitely Lazaro's Dog that had the home entertainment system ad - that was basically the song title.

ok- TE were part of an ad campaign (separate) though?

Anyone remember/know Blooduster being part of an ad (in the ad, a receptionist puts a conference call on hold, the music that comes on is Blooduster (song unknown), & a bunch of Japanese businessmen sit there looking at each other)

Thats right, the ad was for JVC. That song really gave me the sh!ts.

ahhh thats right, JVC! A member of the band had a young lad play footy at Salis Nth back in the day, his son just kept singing that bloody song! "Is got dolby, dolby"
