Hooray, at Memorial Drive.

Perhaps the worst concert. Ever.

Mimed the whole show.

And The support act (Rose Tattoo) had a very "off" night as well.

Yes - my official worst concert ever whenever I'm asked.

First album - Abba (self titled)
First single - pretty hazy, but Ballroom Blitz and Crocodile Rock are right at the start.
First gig - Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons, Jimmy & the Boys and The Stockings at Monash Uni in 1981.
Blighty Teasdale - SuperCoach former World No. 1

In tribute to the memories stirred by this thread I'm changing my avatar.

Love the entry from Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipmunk_Punk
Apparently without Chipmunk Punk there would have been no Nirvana!

Me too!
First single -- Edison Lighthouse-- Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)
First gig --Memo Drive--Status Quo & Black Sabbath
Billy Ward,Black Sabbath drummer had a hissy fit complaining of the cold, even though he chose to perform bare chested, storming from the stage pursued by Ozzy Osbourne and Terry Butler, leaving Tony Iommi alone on stage to improvise a 20 minute guitar solo.It was absolutely the coolest, most inspirational thing I had ever experienced. One man held the entire audience in the palm of his hand.In one of those moments of absolute clarity I knew what I wanted to do with my life. The very next day I began begging, badgering and pleading with my oldies to buy me a drum kit and I dreamt constantly of showing charismatic lead singers and nancy boy axemen the true meaning of power and pressure. They did,I haven't.
