There are moments of brilliance ('Within You Without You' overlaid with the Chemical Brothers prototype drum loop from 'Tomorrow Never Knows' is awesome). But a Beatles remix album? Not really sure what to make of it yet...

AC/DC-Back in black
London Calling is one of the first songs I learnt to play, because of that weird intro with the slide up the neck of the bass, still play it to "warm up",but over all the album is a little bit behind that track as far as quality goes.
REM? zzzzzz zzzzzz zzzzzzz

London bloody Calling. I bought that album based on the universal acclaim that is has received over the decades and due to the fact that I liked 'London Calling' and 'Guns of Brixton' but much of it is complete and utter shite. THE most overrated album of all time for mine, but REM's 'Automatic for the People' gives it a good run there.

The most overrated album of all time????....mmmm......interesting.
Mind you I loath Led Zeppelin so I think we have slightly different taste in music.

The full list is interesting to say the least. Just a couple of points
Missy Higgins at #30 and Anthony Callea at #32.
No Rolling Stones LP until #95 and no Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys
I own one of the albums in the Top 10. I feel so dirty and mainstream

No kidding. Yet there was still plenty of populist dreck in the upper positions.
I actually own Grace, but I've never really liked it. I'm listening to it now to see if I can hear what everyone else finds appealing about it.

wtf? Haha.
That's wrong.
In a weird way, I think that bands "still going" shoudn't be included. But of course, I do think they should.
It's like comparing a sportsman of now to a day gone by - it's hard to judge until the career is over, in the fulness of time.
