Is Pink Overrated?

Reakon the question is why does anyone rate her at all?

Because clearly (and bizarrely) they do.

The Pink phenomena genuinely puzzles me...

Likewise mate, I just don't 'get' her and the hype that goes with her. But then again, I'm not into popstars trying to come across as having attitude and thinking they're rockstars.

Why do you have to "get" her, or any artist for that matter?

I'm not a fan of her music, but call it what you want and like it or leave it. Always puzzles me with music, how people who like something you dont must be wrong.

I dunno, the Pink phenomena, much like the Lady Gaga one, for some reason has completely passed me by. There's a song about being a Rockstar or something I'm vaguely aware of. I listen to a wide range of music every spare minute I get, but she doesn't get played on the radio I listen to, isn't written about in the music mags I read, doesn't feature in the TV I watch...hell, I'm a teacher and I talk music with kids all the time. I don't recall them ever talking about Pink.
