BDO 2010 Rumours

Apparently Blink 182, Muse and Rancid are all on!

despite their last 2 albums not being in the same league as Life Won't Wait or ....And Out Come The Wolves, this is the first BDO I've thought of attending since 2004!

If Rancid do in fact play the BDO you're probably better off seeing a side show. Unfortunately that would mean getting to Melbourne as it's unlikely they'd do one in Adelaide. They'd do a longer set and the crowd would be smaller.
Mind you I suppose being a punk you'll want to go to the BDO anyway so you can see Blink 182

Rancid are not playing BDO.

I don't think Blink 182 will play either, sounds like they might be doing their own tour, not 100% sure of that though.

First round announced next week, would love for a few of them to play.

I doubt BDO could afford Paul McCartney. The Offspring are touring later in the year so would be doubtful. Can't really see them getting Daft Punk or Eminem but possible I guess.

Sounds like Muse, Powderfinger and Lily Allen will play. Some of the others are strong possibilities.

I thought getting Bowie made no sense considering the $$$ involved and the fact that the BDO sells out regardless so why spend unneccessary $$$ ??

I dont think it seels out regarless LL. Usually one group/performer manages to capture a portion of the market and get people though the gate.

Neil Young for instance probably brought in 3 or 4000 on his own that wouldn't normally go along.
