The sentimental ones.........
Set adrift on Memory Bliss - Pm Dawn
Save the best for last - Vanessa Williams
Sometimes love just ain't enough - Patty Smyth and Don Henley
Just to keep you satisfied - Marvin Gaye
Are you still down - Jon B and Tupac Shakur

Funerals can give a new appreciation of songs - as I've found out about for a couple of the well known Righteous Brothers tracks and "Soulsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel.

I hadn't heard this song since a mate's funeral in April.
I saw it live on Friday night at the Across the Great Divide Tour in Mildura.
The first three chords were played, at that point I hadn't even recognised the song but must have subconciously, and tears started streaming from my eyes.
It could be considered a sad song to me - but once I'd got over the initial sadness, it was nice.
I was yet to delete his number from my mobile. Afterwards, I was able to send a final text, say goodbye, thank him for being a mate and delete his number. Small things.
Im with ya on this 1 DW. Beautiful song. Another song that hits me hard everytime is Beautiful Boy by John Lennon. Was played at my cousin funeral. Died of Luekemia at 4 years old. Sounds bad but i have to try avoid that song. Kills me to hear it.

I know the feeling on that song Lizbeff it cuts me deep when i hear Beautiful Boy.

Pearl Jam - Alive.

I love all Pearlies songs, but this would have to be the best of the lot. An absolute ripper of a song, especially when you've seen it live and the whole crowds singing (not necessarily the same lyrics). Pure joy!!
