Death Magnetic or And Justice For All, doesn't mean sh!t. They are playing their self titled album, according to the Herald Sun

Never said it was a terrible album, it just sounds terrible. Although, it ranks =5th on my Metallica album ranking.

I've never been a big fan of Metallica but thought the sound on Death Magnetic was pretty good.

Do you mean the sound on St Anger?

Could be worse. The songs you don't want to hear from that album (enter sandman, sad but true, nothing else matters) they'd play anyway. Hearing Struggle Within, Holier than Thou and through the never would be good.

Actually I read it in the Brisbane times. Just rumoured at this stage, here's an excerpt

Among those announced were metal superstars Metallica, who sold out four Allphones Arena dates themselves on their last visit in 2010. It had been rumoured the Californians will be playing their 1991 self-titled album – which has sold more than half-a-million-copies in Australia alone – in full.

And Of Wolf and Man aswell would be good to hear, my favourite song off of the black album.

Justice too.
Black album would be okay.

The problem with Metallica these days is they speed up their songs too much to get more in.
This reduces the quality IMO.
And the Black album should definitely not be played faster. Slower the better to maximise the heaviness of songs such as Sad But True, Of Wolf and Man etc.
Holier than Thou and Through the Never are the exceptions.
