Home made job on CD (done for friends and personal use, and with at least one member of each band's permission I might add ;) )
Why " I Saw my name Written on a Tombstone" by The Primevils isn't lauded as one of the GREAT songs of the 80's and Martin Bland isn't worshipped as a music genuis is a disgrace.

LL, I think Sin Dog Jellyroll were on Greasy Pop before going to Murmur/Sony too. Also was Martin Bland in Bloodloss?

'Tis. Ben Harper's 'Under Pressure' (did it at the Adelaide Oval concert last month), Bertie Blackman's 'In The Air Tonight' and Philadelphia Grand Jury's '99 Problems' are the standouts.

Don't think Sin Dog Jellyroll were on Greasy Pop. i'll check.
Martin Bland was indeed in Bloodloss - and still is - Their latest line up is based in Seattle and features Mark Arm of Mudhoney. He was also in Lubricated Goat but apparently pulled out of their most famous TV performance due to shyness !

New REM live album - Live at the Olympia. Never thought I'd ever again enjoy (a) an REM album, (b) a live album and (c) a live REM album, but this has pretty much restored my faith in the band. 39 tracks recorded at their 'live rehearsals' residency in Ireland a couple of years ago - there are absolutely no Man on the Moons or Everybody Hurts here, hell not even any Radio Free Europes or Fall on Me's. Just loads of obscure gems for those raised on their IRS years (lots off Reckoning in particular) or for those yet to discover them. Feels more like a cheap bootleg, it's as unpretentious and warm that a band of their size can sound.
"A no vote from any club means there is some sort of risk involved in our entry into the competition not working," Steven Trigg.

Nah you're right Sin Dog were on Pop Gun. Thanks for that info but I've seen that LG footage enough times!

btw do you have any idea about what's going on with that Grong Grong CD? It was meant to come out on Memorandum Recordings or something and that mate who's an old friend of Charlie's pre-ordered the CD in October but is still waiting. Do you know if it ever actually came out or if it's been shelved?

Cheers for the link. I think it was originally supposed to be available at the shows but better late than never!
