Have FF ever played at AEC? As fas as I can recall it's always been the BDO, Thebby and now AO.

They played at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in 2008.

One of the highlights for me was just standing out in the middle of the Adelaide Oval about where the pitch is, and just looking around and taking in the atmosphere of the place.

Low light was my phone running out of space when I was recording Generator.

Great show, very typical stock standard set list, no surprises.

There was a few surprises. First one being opening with All My Life second one being doing Best of You like it should be done and thats in a rock set. Perth and Melbourne got it in a acoustic set. I took over 100 photos and recorded many videos on my camera. It was almost the perfect night until these jumping D-Heads jumped into me whilst taping Best of You. Had the best view about 20 from the stage and about 2 meters from the walk way. They topped 08 IMO

No probs, I thought they played at Thebbie last time with a late added Adelaide show that wasn't originally on the itinerary, must've been the tour before that.

You're thinking of the good band Grohl was in. They played there in 92.

Since you asked so nicely Booney. ;)

(NB: they were originally booked for the Old Lion but by the time they toured they were so huge they played Thebbie, and could have sold out another show if their schedule had allowed)

Reckon its Thebby. At the entertainment centre show 2008? Grohl referred to playing the little theatre down the road and now we are in the fking big place. Reckon Adelaide wasn't on the tour but a radio station got a petition going and the only joint available was thebby. Must have rated it coz i've heard him mention it a few times in interviews

Me too. Didn't play enough off the original album. Only This Is a Call from what I remember.
Loved a couple of their new ones though.

I think I might have been the only one disappointed with Everlong.
I prefer when they start that song really slow, with just Dave on the guitar and then smash it out later on.
Still a good version though I guess.

You're missing FF's Adelaide visits in Jan '96 for the Summersault festival (I forgot this was at the AEC) and Feb '98 at Thebbie.

For the '98 tour 'The Colour & The Shape' was re-released with a bonus disc and the blue cover was changed to grey. They did something similar for the 2000 tour when 'There Is Nothing Left To Lose' was re-released with a slipcase pic of swimmer Michael Klim (I think with a fake FF tat) to tie in with the Sydney Olympics.

I went Monday and thought that it was an awesome show, I found it interesting the massive age gap for thier fans. I also went to that 98 gig at Thebby.

Yes, I was about to bring that one up. Beastie Boys, Beck, Sonic Youth, Pavement and Rancid also.
