yep, I'm going.
they should be playing at a better (bigger) venue.
the entertainment centre is a crappy place for live music

Similar to me and the missus 2 or 3 years ago, we went to Heaven to see Regurgitator, the band on beforehand was Wolfmother, there was lucky to have been about 15 people in the joint at that stage, I stood at the edge of the dance floor watching them thinking that they might go somewhere!

ohh matchbox twenty arent that bad!!!
i think the reason the sound was crap was because we were sitting up the back/top, really echoed and stuff.

least with powderfinger ill be in general admin, hopefully the sound quality is a lot better.

im not overly keen on seeing silverchair play.
their new stuff is...well...gay?

I saw INXS there a few months ago. The show was great but the venue itself had no atmosphere whatsoever and the sound insde is very ordinary. Memorial Drive would be mch better. I even saw powderfinger outdoors at Adelaide Uni once and they rocked.

The way I (and most other people) see this show is as a Powderfinger show with Silverchair supporting!

I don't care that it is at the entertainment centre - I think the sound quality etc. will be fine.

BTW - WGT the sound quality at matchbox twenty was fine. It crapped over the U2 sound quality - which I add was only bad because of the sound reverberations around AAMI Shitium

Went and saw Silverchair on Friday night at Brixton Academy. I thought they were great. I hadn't really listened to their new album until before the concert on Friday. I don't mind it.

The Powderfinger and Silverchair concert will be great. The only let down will be the venue. The Entertainment Centre has no atmosphere at all.
