Damn, kids have been pestering me for years to go to the Clipsal, and now with the Rogue Traders on Sunday they'll be pestering me even harder.
On a slightly different tangent am the only one who thinks Eskimo Joe is overrated, they sound more like contemporary rock to me and should be at home on MMM and not JJJ.
Pity they can't piss off Jon Stevens and the Black Sorrows as I'd almost be tempted to go to stare at Natalie for a decent amount of time.

Spot on. I always suspected they were a bit ropey but I bought the new album for a friend and have had a few listens with an open mind. I should have trusted my instincts - 1 top single, plenty of filler. Noiseworks for the 'naughties.

Still, they're better than Evermore - blecchhh!!

I don't think there would be any band good enough to make me go to a car race, but that line-up is bog average at best.

Have had some very good bands at the Clipsal over the years, The Living End, Magic Dirt, The Superjesus, Cog, even local band Snap to Zero a couple of years ago were very impressive. You Am I next year will be great, but apart from that, its poo.
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run
