had a good day/night at the Day on the Green
kicked off with Mahalia Barnes, OK but nothing special
then Mark Seymour came on, and took a couple of songs to get his sound right but once they did he was excellent, a good version of Holy Grail but didnt play Throw Your Arms Around Me
The Angels were on next and again took a couple of songs to get the sound right but after that I thought they were great, Doc still has plenty of energy and plenty of the old staples came out such as Take a Long Line, No Secrets, Shadow Boxer and of course Am I Ever Going To See Your Face Again 8)
Then finally Jimmy, kicked off with Cheap Wine then went into a few of his own, sounded good but we took off half way through his set to get to the pub down the road, apparently he finished with Khe Sanh
overall a good weekend as we went up friday night and made a weekend of it

and Johnny was there dancing up a storm
