I heard last night that Mick Harvey's replacement in the Bad Seeds would be none other than Ed Kuepper and it seems it's fact.........

I know! I haven't seen the Bad Seeds live in years* but I will be at the next show!!! Ed's playing at the "Stranded" show recently was amazing.
(* Actually come to think of it it was at Thebby way back in 1994 )

I meant to PM you when I heard that...wow, would sure be interesting. Is Ed a volatile character or fairly laid back. He's certainly had run ins with his other larger-than-life band leader in Chris Bailey. I just can't imagine him being happy with being in the background, playing the hits of Nick, toeing the party line....

I'd imagine Ed gave lots of thought to joining the Bad Seeds ZZ. I've met a couple of times and know people that have worked with him and he seems pretty laid back and confident in his own ability and rightly so.
What will be interesting is as bigger pain as he could be Mick Harvey was the glue that kept the Bad Seeds on track (if you like) all these years. It will be interesting to see what happens "off stage" without him.
