The first CD I owned was Ixnay on the Hombre - The Offspring. (my uncle gave it to me)

The first CD I bought with my own money was Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park.

The first for me was Vanilla Ice-To The Extreme (on cassette) ;)

First compact disc thingy might've been Faith No More-The Real Thing.

Not my cup of tea to be honest. I still really like Antichrist Superstar and some of Mechanical Animals though.

I've just downloaded The Pale Emperor, but I haven't listened to it yet.

Antichrist Superstar is a masterpiece, and Mechanical Animals isn't far behind. The rest of his discography is a bit hit-and-miss, isn't it?

Sure is, I'm also listening to this:

A diehard Metallica fan re-recorded their St. Anger album without the raw production & tinny drums with his mate on vocals and sounds better than Metallica's version.

I listened to this last week, and it's quite amazing. Props to the guy for not only covering Metallica, but besting them on this.

Just listened to it, it's very well done. Bar missing the vocal performance of Hetfield, this is very well done.
