Local bands calling it quits

October is fast becoming a sad month for me, 2 of my favourite original Adelaide bands are calling it quits:

Incarnadine will be playing their last gig at the Gaslight Tavern Sat 29th (with Your Motive For) starting early @ 8:00pm with a once of acoustic set (Robyn on flute instead of bass).
Members of Incarnadine's original line up will also take the stage for a few songs as well.

Militant Groove have just announced they are no longer, some of the most energetic Funk Rock I've ever heard, they will be missed by their large loyal group of followers.

Wedgie & I will both be at Incarnadines last gig tomorrow night, looking forward to a huge night, it would be great to see a few more from safooty there

It was a great send off @ the Gaslight last night, Incarnadine started the night off with their 1st and only acoustic set, Carl & Eric both on guitar, Suze singing, Billy on percussion (various) and Robyn on the Flute, very different for them but I think most there would agree it went well, then it was 2 sets of the Incarnadine we know, plenty of good old fashioned Rock. Former members Sox (drums) and Hussain (Keyboards) were there and played a few songs.
While it's sad to know we will never see them play together again, I'm looking forward to seeing all of them play again in their new or other bands.
