Yeah I know the feeling - I am one to play an album to death when I get into it - drives my kids nuts!

Just been to the local shopping centre with kids. Whilst they wandered off doing 16yo shiite, I wandered into JB HiFi where a copy of Iggy Pops anthology "A Million in Prizes" jumped out at me. And only $9-99!!!! Listening to Down On the Street as I type.........

Only one CD has been required in my CD player of late.

The Drips self-titled album features the unmistakable vocals of Matt Caughthran (of The Bronx fame), as well as Tony Bevilacqua (The Distillers) on guitar. It's a 2006 release and coincides with the rising popularity of The Bronx, but it's a lot more melodic and sticks to a good old fashioned punk formula. I play it waaay too much and I'm bound to get sick of it, but hopefully not before a new release from Caughthran's major project.

Just bought "The Essential Tommy Emmanuel" collection from JB. Absolutely love his stuff, but lent someone three of his albums years ago and never got them back, so crisis averted :)
