Eminem’s protégé shot

Eminem's friend, rapper Obie Trice has been shot while driving in Detroit on New Year’s Eve, NME reports.
Shots were fired at the back window of Trice's car from another vehicle. He managed to pull off the freeway on which he was driving before stopping.
His girlfriend, who was also in the car but was uninjured, then flagged down police.
Trice was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.
Police are investigating the incident but have no suspects yet.
Trice is signed to Eminem’s label Shady Records and released his debut album 'Cheers' in 2003.
