What other clubs think of one another

Coaches I have dealt with have continuously laid claims to knowing what other teams think of their team.
It is used to either add weight to their address or pump up a side for a match in a certain discipline of the game.
For example: That mob over there think you are lazy footballers...
Other teams in this league think you cant tackle... etc.

I thought it would be interesting to see what other teams actually think of one another be it good or bad.

I'll start it off with Marion - full of snipers. every time we play them there are scuffles due to behind the ball incidents.

Happy Valley - Pretty footballers, meaning they like space and are skillful.

Port Noarlunga - Just hate Port Noarlunga... :)

Most people seem to like Flaggies.
however surely it's normal to dislike every other team but your own. Especially the EMU's and their feral supporter
i agree though, never underestimate them.

you're right, i don't mind Flaggies at all.

Christies are dirty (a lot of this opinion stems from the continued actions from one bloke though)

emu's always seem to be a 'young' side

the rest i neither hate, nor love.

Interesting thread.

I don't mind most teams. Always thought Porties were a pack of whingers when I first started coming to SFL games. Then it turned out some of my dad's old mates were ex-Cockledivers so I've developed a bit of a soft spot for them since - it's hard not to when you walk into the bar and you hear 'Ahhhhh it's young Miss Hayford, I remember you when you were this high! What are ya drinking, it's my shout.' Probably the team I dislike the most would be a toss-up between Marion and Brighton - saw the Bombers' true colours when they played us last year. Only other thing I can think of is when we played Christies at their ground - we ended up winning (that was like Grand Final Day for us ), but I got to the game just before 3/4 time when we were down by eight goals and one of our boys dropped a sitter so I swore and kicked the car door and put a fair old ding in it, and the kids doing the scoreboard all pointed and laughed at me. I didn't like those kids. But that's OK. One day I will make a lot of money and then I will buy my own alpaca farm and then maybe those kids will come along to see the alpacas because alpacas are really awesome, and then one of my alpacas will bite them. Justice for all. :)

Noarlunga isn't even a suburb. ;) Aha!

I hail from Happy Valley, but I'd have to say my heart, and possibly my brain, are located further south, considering the stuff I write on here sometimes, then return to look at a week later, think 'Bugger, did I really write that?' and then 'Yes. Ah well.'

Incidentally, TBB, cheers for confirming the proximity of the choice plants - now where can I get some?
