Morphett Vale Vs Reynella on anzac day at Morphett Vale. It dosen't get any better than that.
Bring it on thats what we have been waiting for.
I hate any thing that is black or white [and teal] and reynella is absolutely no exemption.
Plenty of respect for them. Can't wait for next week end we play them in 8 games.
14s and 16s second sides play saturday at 8.15 and 9.35.
Sunday will start with dawn service on the cr of south and flaxmill rd 6 or 6.30 [not sure check
paper.] then back to morphett vale for bacon eggs, port and cigars.
Then we have a full day of football starting with 14s at 8.15
16s 9.35
18s 11.10
Bs 12.50
and the grand final replay As 2.30
and morphett vale Vs reynella u12 at half time of the As.
If you like football do your self a favour. This will be a great day at the footy.
See you there.

I might go along but I find it interesting there's a full morning of footy as the SANFL only start reserves footy at 12.01 out of respect for the diggers.
Ive got to somehow change myself from a Shoeboy to a Winefly now that my sons playing for Reynella, its hard, but this might be my attempt to start.

i know it doesnt mean much as the flies have lost the GF's over the years but it would be interesting to see some stats on the last 5 years of sunday clashes... it would be pretty close stats i reckon.
quite a few only a few goals have separated the sides. i remember one was a kick after the siren.. that was probably more than 5 years back though.

To Wedgie
The SFL apply for special dispensation from the RSL to play games prior to 12 noon. To date that has always been granted due to the community nature of SFL football and the respect with which the clubs involved conduct both the day and the A grade game.

Now now ol man, one of the administrators of this site has a son on the Wineflies list now.

My mate who's an emu can't make the game now but I still might wander down to have a look by myself.
