Cove have also got a team of U/18's from last year where the average height is 6ft and they can all look after themselves on the footy field.... they will be very strong in Seniors this year.

A few teams rely on the bottom 4 to make finals every second year, take us away and no top 8, think which clubs would be bottom :D

After my conversations with Lane Trembath Sat night he believes they will be much stronger than last year. Club had no concerns letting HArvey go due to off field and on field antics also the big money offered to him by CLG they couldn't match...... they picked up a big strong CHB who played at Gaza and also West Adelaide. 3 other recruits who will play A grade and fit in nicely as he put it.......Not much mention of the U 18's from last year

Don't waste your time at Aldinga - a losing culture that can't be broken. The whole place is full of potential but after years of mismanagement and a disjointed committee they come up empty. Their only expertise is more likely found at the bottom of an amber bottle than football adminstration or management. Given that the majority of Aldinga's junior ranks now play at Willunga - at one stage Willunga had 17 former Aldinga players playing A grade for Willunga - we all know how good Willunga have been in the GSFL over the past couple of years. Not saying that all those 17 or more topped into Aldinga's list would offer a challenge to Morphett Vale, Reynella or Cove but would certainly leave the likes of Morphy Parks, Marion, Christies and Flaggys in their dust. Aldinga should've gone to the Country division of the Hills when they had their chance. Again I hear whispers they are 'going' to have an under 18's team. They've been pushing that one for at least the past 4 years! Like a fairytale all these rumours of Brighton players, Henley players and Christies players going down there to play. The only ones I've seen them attract so far are hacks from Christies C grade or overpaid and overweight guys with reputations that don't train. Oh and not to mention the 'retreads' that came back from Myponga only to rip the club off and then go bush again! Anyone looking for a club.... pick one that has a c grade because at a c grade club you'd still knock Aldinga off most weeks. The only positive for the Sharks is that they've reappointed their coach for the first time in years...maybe he bought the right committee members enough beer or something?

Fairly good assessment I'd say, some of the 16 lines. Lucky why they call it 'HISTORY'. You probably wouldn't know any players now anyway, I take it you left yourself champ, pretty sure I know who you are.

Hey Ruck Legend are u playing for Morphy park again this season? Haven't heard much about them, how do u reckon they will go. Are u gonna talk them up big time again like last preseason? Then they go and have their worst season since it became all one division again.

Scotroo thats why HArvey left.......Didn't get enough "Love" from Cove when he was thinking of leaving so chased the big bucks to CLG.......Your dream world of all these young players following P Crighton mate is riduculous......None of the players that went to CLG from Cove played under him at Cove his 2 sons followed for obvious reasons and Harvey went cos of the money being given to him and his ego being hurt cos Cove didn't care he was flirting with the idea of leaving........ Good luck with him though you will have him playing for a few games then have him sitting with your supporters getting drunk as he is suspended for most of the year.....

I know I said I wouldnt talk about Aldinga anymore...But thats good!! Previous years they've had players backup from B's and play A's aswell... get out there son and have a kick!! If you think they moved the ball well.... you're going to get a shock when you see the top teams!

Over 40's comp, yeah good call Cheech, only comment if you know what you are talking about, 60-70% of that side last year were under the age of 21.
