Not sure what the standard of football is like in this comp but Biglands was an very average player at best in the SAAFL in any case. I appreciate that's a separate issue from his lack of commitment to Aldinga but part of the big picture regardless. I've never known a reunion to start when the A grade for Districts starts.
What about the current Districts players who had played in the same premiership, are they all not playing Sat like this Biglands bloke just so they can all hit the p!ss? I don't think so.
Is it too hard to committ to your current club & team-mates for the day & help them win the points, thats what he's payed for from Aldinga yeh? I don't think the club would have a problem with him going after the game as thats when most reunions start around 7pm, sounds like a very selfish footballer to me.
