Bag The Points wrote:Thanks for the compliment Fisho, but I'm definitely from outside the Aldinga club. However I've been watching the Sharks progress with interest. Would love to see you build yourselves into "The Morphett of the South" in time, but that would be a long way down the track yet.
Biggest thing for that would be getting a full junior programme going. I know you have big problems with the only High School smack in the middle of a powerful neighbouring club's territory, but the Sharks need to keep working on this problem. The sooner you have a good flow of colts coming through (added to that booming housing situation) you'll be truly on your way to lasting strength.

Pretty spot on I'd say.
If your just watching closely why don't you get involved and be one of the people to help pull it around?
A big problem Aldinga use to have is there are too many people who like to sit and watch and think they know best, when they could be helping out. But if your who I think you are - you'd already know that

Wow !! Sounds like I'm Lynchy !! Thanks for the compliment. (Not sure if the Aldinga coach would be impressed though)

Not very often I dive into opposition clubs threads, but on this occassion I will break my rule.....

I would just like to congratulate you guys on what has been a fantastic season so far! You have really turned your club around and the results are speaking for themselves.... With any luck you could have won a lot more games already in 2008.....

Good luck on the rest of the season (except when you play us again of course) keep up the great work! It is definately being noticed and it is good to see things heading in the right direction.... Give Reynella a hiding this week! That would make my weekend.... Wouldn't it be great if you guys beat Reynella and Hackham managed to beat Christies..... Oh what a weekend that would be <dreams>

OK, my cue to depart these shark infested waters....

Should be a good game this weekend if we turn up for the whole match. :D Reynella CAN be beaten, just got to keep that in mind! The right frame of mind makes a hell of a difference in a close game.

The on-ballers are going to be the key to this one. Forget about shutting down their forwards. Just my two cents.

WH its good to hear some close rivals with some humble comments. Thanks alot, it is a hard road. I still say though that we have improved but unless we can start beating these sides not just getting close then we have a big step to go still. Good to see you boys are persisiting without the Kelly's you certainly dont need that sought of crap around a keen to improve club. Its been a hard task for our A grade coach to stick around but he's done it and given us some stability hopefully thats what you guys can work to also. Good luck.

Would be nice to beat Reynella but they are a great side and as I've said before we will have to be at 120% from the first bounce to get close and give ourselves the same oppurtunity we have in the last couple of weeks. Its a long way up but were keen to get there.

So the shark boys, a few questions is it true dallas pitt and tim kearse are now playing netball together instead of footy, is Lynch still around, if so how much longer? Is this dot bloke really going to win the mail medal, and does baldy have any side burns left... also did fly have a drink with harty after the game? That is the biggest question...

Whats the go with this Biglands bloke, i hear he's not playing this week for the Sharks as he's attending a premiership reunion back at his old club Port Districts.
I've never known a reunion to start when the A grade for Districts starts.
What about the current Districts players who had played in the same premiership, are they all not playing Sat like this Biglands bloke just so they can all hit the p!ss? I don't think so.
Is it too hard to committ to your current club & team-mates for the day & help them win the points, thats what he's payed for from Aldinga yeh? I don't think the club would have a problem with him going after the game as thats when most reunions start around 7pm, sounds like a very selfish footballer to me.

If he'd been picked in the side I'm sure he would have played this week. Apparently he didn't turn up to a compulsory training session on Tuesday and was dropped. What I don't understand is why it was compulsory - they were training with rubber footballs! :o

In which case there would be more at fault with the way things are run at Aldinga than with the players themselves.

Look guys (no mercy) I'll put the record straight, if I was picked I was going to pull a hammy anyway, I didn't really want to miss it, and I'm glad I didn't it was a great day and night, and by looking at the scoreline it wouldn't have mattered much anyway...
