All is fine Tunit. No unrest a good solid game by the A grade on the weekend showed that they are starting to work for each other now and all involved are enjoying the atmosphere and blokes around them.
True as you've read above a couple of ppl left both were in the B grade and both are more than welcome to play again at any time. Have been told that sometimes you cant stop a couple of sour grapes and feel that is all it is at the moment, as all of both playing groups are fighting for their spots now, something maybe some people are not use to?

Everything else is on probably a little bit behind where we would have liked to be but certainly the improvement over the comeing weeks is definately going to turn some heads.

Not struggling that I know of, couple of issues but nothing major, financially sound so alls well. Unfortunately some clubs are talking to some of our players for next year which can be a bit annoying  Will be a test of character over the next month or so when we hit the top teams.

Looks like that "pretty good" b grade coach might not be as highly regarded as you think Rodney!

It may be true sounds like some fence sitters not to happy. I don't remember this being about the B grade anyway? If thats where the "problems" are then I'm sure if he thought someone else could do a better job then he'd be happy to oblige their requests
But what can you do if your not man enough to get out and talk if you have a problem then you wont get anywhere. All players past or present are more than welcome to have their say, a bit of discretion sometimes should be measured though.

got to see lynch in his lycra neon yellows on saturday that was worth the admission alone, will you blokes win this week? You really need to, to show that you guys are serious about your footy, from what i can gather it could be a turning point for your whole club win or lose let's hope something happens down there sooner rather than later.

Maybe the guy can't read ---- Something IS happening at Aldinga. I've said it before --- READ THE SCOREBOARD !!!! Booting 15 against the Shoes at Noarlunga and finishing just three kicks away from victory there is probably the highest level of competitiveness Aldinga has reached in the last five years.
Aldinga WILL make it, despite this continual barrage of negativity.

So much for all the bagging of Lynchy ----- another fantastic effort by you guys this week !!
With any luck the Sharks could have had FIVE by now !!! Aldinga is progressing big time.
Rome wasn't built in a day, but the way it looks to me, something exciting is definitely building down there. :supz:

NO! NO, NO, NO! ******* NO!

This is not a good attitude! We're happy because we lost to Flaggies by a few points after leading them ALL DAY?! It might be an improvement, but it is STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH. And this is not the time to get complacent about it. Especially since this was not the first time the Sharks have come close. Last year we almost beat Flaggies but ran out of legs in the last quarter. My concern is that this time it had nothing to do with lack of fitness - we just didn't want it enough.

There's no point in feeling proud because Aldinga made up a few percentage points. We are still sitting second bottom on the ladder. No matter how much you've improved, you're never going to get any respect unless you start mirroring your achievements on the scoreboard.

I don't intend to be negative. There certainly has been improvement, but to continue in this direction, we've got to get people out on the track TWICE a week, keep up the morale, and PLAY TO WIN. Aldinga has a gun side! But there's more to a team than just buying players and letting them out once a week to do their thing. The sooner some people realise this, the sooner Aldinga is going to be playing finals. That's my two cents.

Excellent post Fisho ---- I agree with everything you have said.
As explained on the SFL forum, my post was not from an Aldinga supporter or member. It's an outsider's opinion in answer to negative crap I've read here that the Sharks were actuallly collapsing.
I'm dying to see the Sharks start winning for the good of the Southern Footy League and would actually be very disappointed if I heard the side (or anyone else down there) was patting themselves on the back thinking getting close was good enough.

Think you'll find the playing group were pretty disappointed to say the least, will be interesting in the next few rounds as Aldinga hits the top teams. Can't help some people being a little excited when you have a close finish, saw a certain committee member cop a spray for congratulating the teams effort when walking off, lol.

PS. Yager bombs should be banned!

There is no doubt aldinga have improved. Not bagging them but cosidering they've probably only won 15-20 games since the start of 2000, i think it comes down to the fact that they just don't know how to win at the moment. Its something that teams go through and get over, and the best way to get over it is to keep taking it up to sides. Also in the past there has been a massive turn over of players, there would probably only 5-10 players that have played more that 2 years together, give them a chance to gel, then look out!

Haha Gold Petoe.

Sickening that you'd pay your players that much money and still be 2nd to bottom.

It would be interesting to see what their plans are for junior development...maybe they should start paying their juniors too!!? :)
