I would've thought the "snake" would be more than happy what Brighton have done for him, he was playing C grade at Morphett Vale and they have given him an A grade career...

Interesting call, Know him well haven't heard anything. Has he been playing A grade in trials and first round? Thats the only thing I would think of if he isn't getting a gig in the A grade anymore?

Really? That would be pretty poor form if true, Marion were pretty happy to have got him i thought, especially after he trialed and trained with about 3 other clubs this pre-season.

Was always going to happen, apparently not the first time he has started in Adelaide and ended up back at Mallee park.

He is named in the Southern Boot for this week's game for Marion along with a Kingsley Bilney any relation?

:D Hi Fellers ! Newcomer here. Been reading forum for a while and real keen to join in. Had a look at the Anzac game today. Morphies miles too good winning by just under ten. I'm not an Emu, but a big fan of the Baylys. If one of them doesn't win a Mail Medal by the time his footy is finished I'll be very surprised.

Kingsley Bilney is Wes' younger brother. I hope Marion look after them both so they stay there for the remainder of the season.

Bode of Morphett Vale

Postby Ruck Legend » Sat Apr 26, 2008 8:14 am

Hi All,

I heard during the week that young Bode from Morphett Vale is not playing footy at the moment because of the pressure he is getting. I believe that AFL clubs are pressuring him and also perhaps South Adelaide. Apparantly all this kid wants to do is play footy with his mates - well let's him.

I hope the above that I heard is not true, however if it is, I feel sorry for the lad and I hope the pressure will be dropped of and he can get back to play footy.

I was at the Anzac Game at Morphies and Bode played under 18s, I presume to play with his mates, he went ok but I was equally impressed with the young blond Brighton ruckman who was jumping over the top of him, good oufit those young Bombers.

Went to Reynella today - Cove too good, bit disappionting a fairly scrappy game, the highlight for me was Heater the bald headed little back pocket, killed them all day, if Cove could have converted they would have killed them, when i left in the last quarter it was 6-18 to 3-6

Cove also won 18s and Bs fairly easily

He played for Marion today, pretty quiet though. Rams lost by 9 points to Lonsdale.
