Any word on what sort of team Morphies will be fielding against Willunga this week, close to full strength?

I reckon there is a strong correlation between being employed by the government and the major contributors to this site. It's all good. Gives me something to read during lunch.

A lot of the goverment departments (including mine which is one of the largest) doesn't allow 'outside' internet access.
And I can tell you as I almost personally activate every account that its mainly private enterprise in here with the exception of a few state government people (can't recall 1 federal).

Possibly to organise a roster to drive the bus?

Will be a youthful side with not quite half a dozen premiership players from the last 4 years playing. I know the group selected will be keen to perform well as it is as big a stage as they would have played on. Word is they are taking the game quite seriously. Expect a good showing and some new faces.

A senior player is getting married on this day which conflicts with the game time. Perhaps save your premature judgement till about 2.30pm on saturday...

Im glad Morphies dont have too many senior players from 07 playing, I would hate Chucks to defend playing a full match just three weeks after the 20/20 competition started.

It would be great to hear all the Morphies boys talk up this game a bit more & how good they are looking at knocking off Willunga. After all they are representing the SFL, and they aren't exactly quiet any other time of the year. Maybe they are expecting to loose (ie. not being serious) so it will be a waste of everyones time going to watch...

Not too sure what Willunga will be putting out on the park this weekend as usually this time of year when we play them they struggle for numbers. Make no mistake this game is being treated very seriously by Hilly and he will have the squad primed for an excellent showing. It's been a hard pre-season and everyone is looking forward to finally getting out there and playing footy. The Emu's reputation will not be compromised by putting a substandard team out there this weekend.

Just a quick question IP.

Is it your injured pride or the fact you go missing when it counts that you're referring to in your name?

As for the trial game being played this early, ask both coaches as to when this game would have been played if it wasn't a curtain raiser. I bet it wouldnt have been played for at least another 2 weeks.

Injured Pride .... only because im answering your question

I support Reynella due to several mates I have at the club, no other reason. The club does not see me as one of their 'clubmen', so there is no need to try insult me via a link with that club. I have not played footy for several years & only see several games a year. I sit quietly in the outer when I manage to watch, people outside of Reynella wouldnt know me if I was introduced to them.

The way you talk is that Morphies success in recent years is not because of your own efforts but the lack of opposition clubs in finals. I would have thought you had won the premierships, not everyone else have 'lost' them.

Some friendly advice IP...

Debating with ZC is not advisable on this forum, for your sanity and ours...

Not at all IP we have 'won' all the premierships we have played in and deserved them thouroughly. But to be perfectly honest can you say that Reynella have lived up to their potential when it comes to finals?

Also, I don't believe it was me that had a dig at you first.
