chances are rock said milo was leaving.

just heard many reynella players were also missing friday, much different team will line up round 1. take nothing away from Lofty though as they obviously had a much different line up also.

this comp is about giving all players a chance - especially those who have had a strong / long pre-season and by all accounts the standard has been solid.

I think it's good for the sides playing to be talking of how much they are enjoying this concept of 20/20.

At the end of the day the people that criticise are generally unsure of it and for saying that sides will be burnt out is rubbish. Majority of those serious about there football and clubs will not be worried about burning out instead relishing in the fact of having an advanced preparation. The best kind of training is game situations with this being put in place with 20/20. I for one look forward to playing in a tournament of our own. Well done to those responsible for getting it under way the crowd numbers are evidence of it's obvious support.

I agree with you RF, It seems to me anything taking local footy to next level or getting interest that would otherwise be on cricket or other sports this time of year is good for us all.

Word out is "Cove" will be operating the School Bus to transport players to all away games this season. They loved it last year at Aldinga oval.

Wow... I think most people would say Reynella have that tag. I think the dressmaker there has put together a nice bridesmaids outfit in recent years.

Yes, reynella under achieved last year, but the two before that they faced the team of the 'last 2 decades at their best' and wern't good enough GF day. beating them equal amount of times through the year.

Cove with their talent (they look very good on paper) hasn't done anything in 3 finals series.

but will be interesting too see how they go this year, especially after holding onto the weed.

I played in the game against them on fri night and was expecting to get beaten to be honest, as were a few of the lads due to a somewhat diminshed side at the moment in comparison to our premiership side of last year. Should have a few back this friday though fingers crossed. Very interested to see how we go against Happy Vallley and Edwardstown now.

Reynella played the kids, nothing like the side that will line up in round 1,played mostly b graders along with Milo and 4 or 5 a graders, dont judge them on that id say they will play the emu's in the gf this year

What about Scott or Steve (sorry can't remember last name) that played full forward at cove a couple years ago? He playing again I heard he was lurking at a couple clubs like willlunga?
He'd be a handy input you'd think.

I can see what they say about Cove being the under achievers, they have had a great list and good history at the club. I personally hope they can shake the last couple of years and be the first div 2 merger to make the grand final. Good bunch of guys.
