GSFL has junior colts (under 14 and a half) and senior colts (under 17 and a half)

More bad news for Screech's mob down at Christies Beach, looks like little Shaun Tanner is sitting the year out and getting a cricket coach in the winter to concentrate on his fairly promising cricket career. May have to look at changing the name to the Christie's Screech Saints with all of these reported outs!

Noticed on the GSFL website that Scott Brammer has applied for a clearance from Victor and is heading back to the Hawks. Was there only decent player a couple of years ago.

He struggled to make an impact down at Victor in the GSFL last season, played the majority of the year in the reserves.

When we played against the Hawks a couple of years ago, I was quite impressed. But I guess when you're the ONLY half decent player you tend to stand out a bit more.

There were about 60 out there i think. No new faces but a couple of older ones that have returned from O/seas, other clubs etc.

Hardly been an outstanding contributer to their A grade anyway, should be easily replaced by an up and coming junior of which Christies should have. Surely Meekins' last year...??

Sounds like we are going to go down the same line as 2007. Thought they had proven to the league that the 50 goal + drubbings were not going to happen in 2008... Time will tell i guess

Is Hodge who played at VH last year a confirmed player for MV this year? Saw mention of this a week or so ago, haven't seen his name on GSFL website clearances yet though.

Not many clearances have been put through in the gsfl, doesnt mean that the players aren't moving, clubs are still getting organised, im sure more clearances will be put through very shortly and that hodge will be back at the emus.

No word on Hodge at Emu land as yet and has not been at training as yet... He has made no contact with the coaching/recruiting staff... The first we heard he was coming back was on this site a few pages back...
